A family of automatic transfer switch (ATS) controllers with improved overvoltage withstand

Purpose:

  • It controls automatic transfer from one supply to the other according to the state of the main and standby networks.
  • They monitor the state of the inputs and control contactors, motor-driven circuit breakers and bus-section breakers, and start and bring in the generator set.
  • The БУАВР М automatic transfer switch controller is intended for use in automatic transfer switching (ATS) equipment in supply networks.

Key features:

  • The RMS voltage in each phase is found by sampling the voltage many times during every mains cycle and processing the results mathematically in real time.
  • Several versions depending on the power circuit ATS. Choosing a version БУАВР is done with jumpers.
  • Improved withstand of phase overvoltages.
  • Output relays with galvanically isolated contacts.
  • Indication of input and output circuit states.
  • Settings are easy to enter and clearly displayed.
  • Supplied in a plastic housing for DIN-rail mounting.
  • Microprocessor signal processing gives the unit its wide functionality, accuracy and reliability.
  • The unit connects directly to 0.4 kV networks. Connection to higher-voltage networks requires a step-down transformer (Power adapterАП1).
