UPS 16 kVA 220 VAC

Uninterruptible power supply UPS 16 kVA 220 VAC SYNCHR ATS STS BYPASS Charge 10 A

Purpose:

  • An off-line uninterruptible power supply (UPS) backs up the supply to electrical loads from energy stored in batteries beforehand. The external battery is rated at 240 V (20 × 12 V).
  • A UPS is needed where the mains supply voltage falls outside its permitted limits. It keeps the load powered without interruption and protects computers and other industrial and domestic equipment rated at 220 V AC, 50 Hz, up to 16 kVA.
  • An off-line UPS with a fast static thyristor switch, a built-in charger and an external battery gives: — a short transfer time; — minimal conversion losses; — low heat output; — silent operation; — the ability to run for long periods (set by the capacity of the external battery) without starting an external diesel generator.
  • The UPS has an output to start an external generator set automatically; a version with an automatic contactor bypass circuit is available.
  • When running from the batteries, the UPS supplies the load with a 50 Hz sinusoidal AC voltage.
  • The UPS monitors the state of the battery and the mains and shows the input and output states.

Key features:

  • Output waveform — pure sine wave.
  • Silent, high-efficiency operation.
  • Total output power 16 kVA.
  • High-efficiency combined liquid-and-air cooling with 4 cooling levels and 5 automatic operating modes.
  • Control panel with a backlit LCD showing the UPS output currents and voltages.
  • 6 LED indicators showing the UPS status.
  • Audible warnings for the various operating modes, faults and system problems.
  • The control panel can be used to program operating modes and the monitored battery and mains parameters.
  • Relay signalling UPS running or shutdown.
  • Automatic protection against overload and overtemperature.
  • Programmable deep-discharge protection for the batteries.
  • Soft start with large loads.
  • Built-in fast static thyristor switch.
